Juventus Plans to Include Koopmeiners in Lukumi Deal

Juventus is exploring the possibility of signing Colombian defender John Lucumi from Bologna by including Dutchman Teun Koopmeiners in a swap deal, amid hesitations from Premier League and Turkish clubs to finalize the transfer.

Juventus is holding on to its interest in signing Lukumi, but after the release clause in his contract, which stands at €28 million, Bologna is asking for around €25 million for his departure.

According to "La Gazzetta dello Sport," Bologna is not keen on making swap deals, but they could change their position if Teun Koopmeiners enters the negotiations, especially since the club's sporting director, Giovanni Sartori, previously worked at Atalanta when the Dutch player joined Serie A.

Teun Koopmeiners was hoping for a move to the Premier League, but interest in him has not turned into a formal offer. He also does not seem interested in a transfer to the Turkish league.

Fabio Merti and Juan Cabal have previously been linked with the possibility of being involved in a transfer deal for Lokumi to Juventus.
