Official: Al-Karma Signs Marwan Hamdy

Al-Karma has officially confirmed the signing of Egyptian striker Marwan Hamdy from Pyramids, in a transfer deal that extends for one season, as he joins the ranks of the "Western Falcons" during the current summer transfer window.

The club revealed in an official statement that the decision to sign Hamdi came at the direct request of the Egyptian team's coach, Moamen Soliman, who emphasized to the board the necessity of strengthening the attacking line with a striker possessing both local and continental experience.

Suleiman told Al-Karma's management that Hamdi possesses the technical and physical attributes needed by the team to compensate for the departure of several attacking players, most notably Ayman Hussein, and to contribute to achieving the team's domestic goals.

Al-Karma's management is seeking to enhance the team's attacking line through this signing, especially with the Iraqi Premier League and other competitions for the new season on the horizon.

The club hopes that the Egyptian striker will provide a significant boost up front, offering the team multiple scoring solutions inside the penalty area, in light of the coaching staff's strategy of relying on direct attacking play.

Marwan Hamdy is 29 years old and has previously represented the Egypt national team. He has played for several major clubs in the Egyptian Premier League, most notably Zamalek, Pyramids, and Smouha.

Hamdi has distinguished himself throughout his career with physical strength and smart movements inside the box. He has successfully scored impactful goals with the clubs he represented, and he has also experienced African competitions with Pyramids.

Coach Moamen Soliman is leading the team's training camp, aiming to evaluate the readiness of both new and veteran players, and to establish the starting lineup he will rely on for the first matches of the league.
