Newcastle Targets Egyptian Star Omar Marmoush
Newcastle United have entered the race to sign Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush from Manchester City during the summer transfer window, amid the possibility of his departure from the English club after failing to secure regular playing time.
According to "CaughtOffside", Marmoush remains on the radar of both Tottenham and Barcelona, while Spurs are currently focused on signing Savinho and Cody Gakpo. Barcelona sees the player as a low-cost option to bolster their attacking line.
A source has revealed that Newcastle is placing Omar Marmoush among its top targets, especially after the departure of several prominent players, including Anthony Gordon to Barcelona and Sandro Tonali to Tottenham, which gives the club significant financial power in the transfer market.
Marmoush is valued by Manchester City at around €60 to €65 million, and Newcastle is believed to be one of the clubs capable of affording the transfer fee, despite not having made an official offer yet.
The report indicates that Manchester City is not in a hurry to sell Marmoush, but they may agree to his departure should a suitable offer arrive.
