Al Ahly Halts Negotiations for Akram Tawfik from Al Shamal

Ahmad Shobair has revealed Al Ahli's position regarding the potential signing of Akram Tawfiq from Al Shamal during the current summer transfer window.

Shobeir stated in radio comments: "Akram Tawfik was close to Al Ahly, but the financial issue stalled the deal, and Ahly made their final financial offer."

Al Ahly has informed Akram Tawfiq that there are currently no new negotiations following the last offer, and things have cooled off despite Sid Abdelhafiz's enthusiasm to sign the player.

Media reports have previously confirmed that Akram Tawfiq will remain with Al-Shamal in the current period, and the news regarding the player's return to Al Ahly is completely untrue.
