AS Roma has begun serious efforts to sign Portuguese player Rodrigo Mora from Porto during the current summer transfer window, as the player has become one of the names attracting the attention of the club's management and coach Gian Piero Gasperini to strengthen the attacking line.

According to Italian reports, Roma's management has contacted Porto to understand the terms of completing the transfer. The capital club is considering making an offer for the player's services, as there is a clear desire to enhance their attacking capabilities ahead of the new season.

Rodrigo Mora, born in 2007, is one of the most promising talents in Portuguese football, having caught the eye with Porto due to his ability to play behind the striker and in attacking positions, along with his individual skills and capacity to create chances.

Reports suggest that Porto is demanding around €50 million to part ways with the player, while Roma is looking for a suitable arrangement to finalize the deal, potentially considering a loan with a buy option instead of paying the full amount upfront.

Roma's moves come amid competition from other clubs, most notably Galatasaray, but the Italian club is keen to advance negotiations and finalize Porto's position. The coaching staff believes that Mura could be a significant addition to Gasperini's project for the upcoming season.
