Media figure Ahmed Shobair has settled the debate surrounding the possibility of player Ahmed Abdelkader, currently playing for Al Karama in Iraq, returning to Al Ahly during the current summer transfer window, clarifying the club's final stance following recent rumors on the matter.

In a recent radio interview, Shobeir confirmed that there are two narratives regarding Ahmed Abdelkader's potential return to Al Ahly. The first is that he requested a significant financial package, while the second suggests he declined the move due to a lack of substantial opportunity to secure a place in the starting lineup.

Shobeir added: "Ahmed Abdelkader has completed all matters with Pyramids, and Al Ahly is not sad about the player's move to the Sky Blues as he chose his future."

With this, the curtain officially falls on the possibilities of Abdelkader returning to the Red Castle, as a new chapter begins in the player's career wearing the "Sky Blue" of Pyramids FC.
