Carlos Espi Scores First Goal for Real Madrid
Young striker Carlos Espi has scored his first goal in a Real Madrid shirt, finding the net against Ferencváros during the friendly match between the two teams in Budapest, as the royal club prepares for the new season.
Espi came on at the start of the second half and needed only a few minutes to make his mark, capitalizing on a cross from Federico Valverde to find the net in the 49th minute, scoring the second goal for Real Madrid.
Young defender Mario Rivas opened the scoring for the Royal team in the 41st minute, before Espi added the second goal, marking a great start for the player with Real Madrid.
This goal comes just days after Espi joined Real Madrid from Levante in a deal worth around €25 million, quickly starting to prove himself during the pre-season.
The goal provides Espi with a strong boost at the beginning of his journey with Real Madrid, especially since the club signed him as a project for the future, while the player seeks to seize every opportunity he gets to prove his ability to secure an important place in the team's lineup.
