Official: Neom Signs Greek Giorgos Masouras
Neom FC has finalized the signing of Greek forward Georgios Masouras, who will join the team starting from the new season, in a move aimed at enhancing their attacking power. The Saudi club announced today, Saturday, the official addition of Masouras, sharing a video presentation of the player on their X platform account, stating: "Here the pitch speaks... Georgios Masouras joins the Neom squad." Neom is counting on the experience of the 32-year-old player, who impressed last season with Al-Khaleej, proving his ability to make a difference in the attacking third. Masouras scored 13 goals with Al-Khaleej last season and contributed to 3 assists, catching the attention of Neom, which is looking to build a strong team for the upcoming season. The Greek player has a rich history in European football, having excelled for years with Olympiacos, one of Greece's top clubs, leaving a significant mark during his time there. Masouras also had a professional stint in the German Bundesliga with VfL Bochum, which provided him with additional experience before moving to Saudi Arabia to continue his career with Neom. Neom's management hopes that Masouras' addition will provide a significant offensive boost, especially as the team prepares to compete in the new season with greater ambitions and a desire to make a strong impression.
