Authorities have reported that the case is linked to an incident that took place on December 6th last year inside a nightclub on Wardour Street in the Soho district, where investigations into the circumstances of the event are ongoing.

London police have officially stated that "Ivan Toney, 30, from Northampton, was charged with actual bodily harm on Thursday, July 31. He is set to appear at Westminster Magistrates' Court on Thursday, September 24."

The English striker is expected to appear before Westminster Magistrates' Court in September to complete the legal proceedings related to the case.
