Mido: Zamalek Has Banned the Biggest Gang in Egyptian Football

Ahmed Hossam Mido, the former Zamalek star, confirmed the club's success in dismantling what he referred to as "the biggest gang in Egyptian football," in a strongly worded message he recently conveyed.

Mido wrote on his official X account: "Now you all know I wasn't exaggerating when I said that Zamalek is getting rid of, or unfortunately still getting rid of, the biggest gang in football in Egypt."

The pressures manifested in attempts to enforce the sale of the football company under specific conditions. He added: "Either you sell to my investor on my terms, or I will blackmail you and put pressure on your players, and I will launch paid media campaigns against you, costing you millions of dollars."

Zamalek is preparing for the upcoming season with participation in several local and continental competitions. The team will compete in the Egyptian Premier League, the Egypt Cup, the Cairo Capital Cup, as well as the Egyptian Super Cup and the CAF Champions League.
