Media figure Amir Hossam reported that the contract renewal file for Al Ahly's quartet (Mostafa Shobair, Mohamed Hani, Yasser Ibrahim, and Imam Ashour) is still under negotiation; the players have not signed the new contracts yet due to specific conditions and requests from each of them that have not been resolved.

In his program Modern Sports aired on Modern MTI channel, he stated: "Al Ahly has presented an offer equal to the quartet (25 million EGP annual salary + 8 or 10 million in bonuses), and the commercial contracts pertain to the advertiser, not the club."

He added: The ranking of players in terms of endorsements (Imam, Mustafa Shobeir, Mohamed Hani, and Yasser Ibrahim) is significant. These players have yet to finalize their contract extensions, and they are attempting to increase their financial compensation, which is a normal part of negotiations. But will the club agree to these demands?

According to sources within the club, Al Ahly will not take a step back in its policy of setting a salary cap. Offers have been made to players, including an extension for Yasser Ibrahim for an additional season beyond the remaining year on his contract. He has received an offer from Al Shabab in Saudi Arabia, but it has not been officially presented. Al Ahly is unwilling to let him leave amid a defensive crisis.

Mustafa Shobair is currently awaiting suitable European offers, and so far, no official bid has been received. The player has postponed signing in hopes of an external offer. Imam Ashour wishes to stay but under certain financial terms, while Mohamed Hani may also be looking for an increase in his salary.

He explained: The ball is in the court of the quartet; if they wish to renew, the club is open at any time. Otherwise, they are bound by existing contracts with the club, and there will be no increase in financial compensation whatsoever.

Al Ahly is different from last season, and it was necessary to close certain files, which is why Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet left. The club has started discussions on contract renewals, and no player will be given preferential treatment in the team. A tiered system will be implemented.
