Cologne Rejects Dortmund's New Bid for Said Malla
Cologne has rejected the new offer from Borussia Dortmund for young striker Said Mla, according to reports from Sky Sports and Bild.
According to the information, the fixed offer was just under €40 million, with the total value potentially rising to around €45 million when including bonuses.
Cologne's rejection came quickly, as they believe the offer still falls short of their financial demands, leading to a temporary halt in negotiations between the parties. Cologne insists on receiving at least €50 million to part ways with the player.
Cologne is planning 100% to rely on Saeed Al-Mulla during the new season, and they do not seem ready to allow his departure unless an exceptional offer comes in that changes their stance.
