Official: Celta Vigo Signs Altay Bayındır on Loan from Manchester United
Celta Vigo has officially announced the signing of Turkish goalkeeper Altay Bayındır on loan from Manchester United until the end of the 2026-2027 season, with the agreement including an option for a permanent transfer after the loan period. This move comes as the Spanish club aims to strengthen their goalkeeping position ahead of the new season.
Manchester United has officially confirmed the departure of the Turkish international goalkeeper, who joined the Red Devils in the summer of 2023, after struggling for game time during his spell with the team, as he looks for a greater opportunity to play regularly in La Liga.
The loan agreement includes a clause that grants Celta Vigo the right to permanently sign Binder at the end of the season, should the club be satisfied with his performances. The 28-year-old goalkeeper hopes to regain his form and compete for a starting position after a limited experience with Manchester United.
Binder is expected to join Celta Vigo's training directly in preparation for the new season, as the coaching staff relies on his international experience and abilities to strengthen the team. Meanwhile, Manchester United continues to restructure their goalkeeping position in readiness for the upcoming competitions.
