Al Ahly in Talks to Sign Young Ghazl El Mahalla Star

Media personality Amir Hossam reported that Al Ahly's management has opened official negotiation lines with Ghazl El Mahalla's administration, aiming to secure the services of player Mahmoud Salah and integrate him into the red team's squad during the current summer transfer window.

In his program Modern Sports aired on Modern MTI channel, he stated: "Ghazl El Mahalla has requested 60 million EGP, which Al Ahly considers to be a very high amount, especially since Mahmoud Salah is still young."

He added: "Essam Siraj El-Din, the head of contracts at Al Ahly, is leading the negotiations with El Mahalla."

Al Ahly was weighing options between Mahmoud Salah and Hamid Abdullah, and ultimately decided to go for the talent from Ghazl El Mahalla. The coming days will see the deal finalized.
