Barcelona is eager to finalize the deal for Spanish star Rodri as soon as possible, in order to avoid any developments that could hinder his transfer during the final days of the summer transfer window.

According to Spanish radio station "SER", Barcelona has already reached an agreement with a Manchester City player regarding personal terms, in a move that brings him significantly closer to wearing the Catalan shirt in the upcoming season.

The report indicated that Rodri has informed Real Madrid of his final decision, confirming his desire to transfer to Barcelona, even though the royal club was close to finalizing the deal after reaching an agreement with the player.

According to sources, Real Madrid made a €50 million offer to Manchester City, but the English club's management preferred not to complete the deal at that time, hoping for a better financial offer.

Barcelona is planning to make an opening bid of €45 million, along with an additional €15 million in add-ons.
