El-Ghandour: Zamalek Not Ready for Competition

Khaled El-Ghandour believes that Zamalek is facing significant difficulties that prevent them from entering the competitive atmosphere of the new season. He has sharply criticized the current administrative and technical conditions, pointing out that the numerous ongoing crises within the walls of the White Castle and the lack of stability directly threaten the team's ambitions ahead of the kickoff.

Khaled Al-Ghandour wrote on his official Facebook account: "You sell Hossam Abdel-Meguid and terminate El-Ghazali's contract, and you might let Juan Bezerra go. Sporting director John Edward left at a difficult time, and the preparation period started 15 days late."

He added: "And yet, Banaza and Abdullah El-Said have not joined yet, and there’s no registration... Were you upset that Al Ahly would enter the Champions League with you or your position? You are not even ready for the Premier League, or are you happy with last season's league and that’s the end of your ambition?".

Ghandour's comments come as Zamalek's first football team continues its preparations for the new season, through its closed camp taking place in the new capital.
