Fathi Jebali Unhappy with Three Professionals from Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya

Tunisia's Fitahi Al-Jabali, coach of Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya, has expressed clear reservations about the performance of three foreign players during the team's training camp in Egypt, as the "Falcons" prepare for the new season and their upcoming participation in the AFC Champions League as Iraq's sole representative. The team concluded its camp, which began on July 21, with several friendly matches, ending with a 1-1 draw against Egyptian side Al-Mansoura yesterday, before returning to Baghdad today, Tuesday. According to sources, Al-Jabali submitted a detailed technical report on the readiness of all local and foreign players during the camp, aiming to assess their compatibility with his ideas and tactics before the season kicks off. The coach informed the club's management of his dissatisfaction with the performance of three foreign professionals: Nigerian Moses Orokuma, Anthony Akpotu, and Algerian defender Achraf Boudramah. He believes their level is not up to par for representing the league champions, especially with the continental challenge approaching. Sources confirmed that the Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya management will meet with the coaching staff to discuss Al-Jabali's observations and reconsider their options in the transfer market. Should suitable alternatives become available, a decision will be made to part ways with some current players before the start of the Iraqi Premier League. The final decision will rest with the Tunisian coach, as he is primarily responsible for building the team and determining which players can execute his plans both domestically and continentally. In a related context, sources revealed dissatisfaction within the management due to the loss of several professionals who contributed last season, notably Omani striker Issam Al-Sabhi, who left for Thai Port after his contract was not renewed. It is worth noting that Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya clinched the Iraqi Premier League title on June 2, breaking Al-Shorta's dominance and returning the "Falcons" to the podium.
