Al Ahly Depart for Spain Today for Training Camp
Al Ahly's first team football delegation is leaving today, Thursday, for Spain to enter an external preparation camp that will last until August 20, as part of the program to prepare for the new season, which aims to bring the players to the highest levels of technical and physical readiness before the official competitions begin.
Board member Tarik Qandil is leading the team's delegation during their pre-season camp, which features an intensive training plan that includes daily sessions and friendly matches. The goal is to increase harmony among the team members and integrate new arrivals with players returning from loans.
Al Ahly will play two friendlies against teams from the fourth and fifth divisions of the Spanish league, as part of their gradual preparation stages, providing players with the opportunity to regain match sharpness.
Al Ahly will conclude their matches in Spain with a friendly against Barcelona on August 19, a game expected to be the team's toughest test during the camp given the strength of the opponent.
