Cairo Stadium to Host 5 Teams in New Season

Cairo International Stadium will host five teams in the new season: Al Ahly, Zamalek, Modern Sport, Zed FC, and Bank Al Ahly, according to journalist Hani Hathout.

A media figure indicated on his program 'Modern Sports' that, according to an informed source, there is a possibility of reducing this number in the upcoming seasons to between two and three clubs only, in order to ease the burden on the stadium.

The source clarified that the Cairo Stadium Authority was unable to reduce the number of clubs this season due to contracts signed with the mentioned clubs for two seasons.

He concluded his statements by noting that the stadium will witness a significant aesthetic and artistic upgrade, as the source confirmed that the installation of new turf during the current break will ensure the pitch looks its best for the start of the competitions.
