5 Alternatives for Al Ahly to Replace Diang and Ben Ramadan
Media figure Hani Hathout confirmed that Al Ahly officials are racing against time to strengthen their midfield before the new season kicks off. Al Ahly is actively seeking a top replacement to compensate for the departures of Aliou Dieng and Ben Ramadan, with the planning committee intensifying meetings to finalize the new signing and secure the deal immediately.
Hathtout added in statements via his program "Modern Sports" that Al Ahly's primary desire is to sign a foreign midfielder, with several nominations including Mata Magasa from ZFC, and Jordanian Nizar Rashdan, a former player for Qatar SC, alongside another unnamed African player.
Al Ahly is also including some local players in their list, such as Mohamed Makhlouf from Al Masry and Adham Hamid from Petrojet, in case they fail to secure a foreign player.
All options remain open for Al Ahly's management, which finds itself compelled to choose between foreign and local coaching styles to finalize the "rescue" deal for the midfield. Will the planning committee succeed in securing the anticipated foreign signing, or will circumstances force them to resort to local solutions in the final moments of the transfer window?
