Modric: I Hope Rafael Leao Stays at Milan

Croatian star Luka Modric has expressed his wish for his teammate, Portuguese forward Rafael Leao, to remain with AC Milan, emphasizing that his presence is a significant asset for the team, despite the challenging season they have faced.

Luka Modric commented on Rafael Leao's future: "I don't want to give him advice; he is mature enough to know what is best for him. He knows well how much the fans and the club love him. He is a fantastic player, and it's amazing to have him with us."

The Croatian star added: "He, as always, needs to work hard and give his best for Milan. He has suffered from some injuries, and perhaps he hasn't had a great season, but he is physically strong and has great potential."

Modric continued: "If he stays with us, it will be fantastic for us, because when he is at his best, he is one of the best players in the world."

He concluded his remarks by saying: "I hope he regains his form and helps us have a good season, because as I said, he is a great player. I would really like him to stay, but we will see what happens. In the end, he and the club will find the best solution, but as a football player, I definitely want Rafael Leão in my team."
