Al Ahly to Revise Marwan Attia's Contract
Al Ahly's management has decided to raise the financial value of midfielder Marwan Attia's contract and amend it, in line with the strong levels he has shown alongside the Red Giants and the national team recently, according to journalist Hani Hathout.
In statements made during his program "Modern Sports," he revealed that the club's management has decided to increase Marwan Attia's contract from 12 million to 20 million Egyptian pounds, with additional incentives reaching up to 8 million pounds, linked to achieving domestic and continental titles.
Hathout explained that Al Ahly's move to secure Marwan Attia with a lucrative contract was aimed at blocking the external offers that have pursued him recently, particularly from Saudi league clubs, confirming the player's importance and his foundational role within the team.
With this step, Al Ahly's management reflects its strong desire to maintain the core foundations of the team and its technical stability, ensuring continued competition for local and continental titles and securing the future of its stars against the temptations of foreign professionalism.
