Shobir Sends Message to Zamalek Officials About Chico Panza
Former Al Ahly and Egypt goalkeeper Ahmad Shobair has launched a fierce attack on Angolan winger Chico Banza of Zamalek, sending a strong message to the club's management demanding they take a tough stance and show the "red eye" to the player due to his repeated issues and absence from the pre-season preparations for the new season.
Shobeir expressed his astonishment at the inconsistency of Angolan professional Chico Banza, stating in his radio remarks: "The situation with Chico Banza is puzzling; when he participates in several consecutive matches, he delivers outstanding performances. However, he is a player who lacks stability, and his output is dictated by his personal mood. At times, you see him at the peak of his brilliance, while at other times, his level drops sharply."
It was noted that Banza continues to be absent from the team's ranks, confirming that the player has not yet joined the collective training sessions of Zamalek. This has caused significant frustration within the White Castle due to his unjustified delay in the preparation period for the new season.
Shobir continued his critique of the player's justifications: "The player claims to be facing a crisis in obtaining his residency in Portugal! This is quite astonishing, as he spent a whole month on vacation, so how could he not complete these legal procedures during that time? The management of Zamalek Club must show a 'red eye' by enforcing discipline and dealing firmly from the outset, taking a decisive stance that allows no retreat regarding this negligence."
