Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior has shared details of his first conversation with new Real Madrid manager Jose Mourinho as the team gears up for the new season. In a video posted by Real Madrid on their official platforms, Vinicius explained that Mourinho sent him a clear message from the beginning of their work together, saying: "He asked me to be as I have always been, happy, smiling, and to play in my usual style."

The Brazilian star returned to team training on Monday, before participating in his second training session on Tuesday as part of the preparation program for the new season, emphasizing the importance of physical fitness during this phase.

Vinicius stated: "The physical work we are doing now will be very important to reduce injuries during the season, so that all players are ready to participate."

The coach also discussed the details of the last training session, stating: "We trained in the gym, and the session was short, but it focused on increasing the physical load on the legs, and I think it was very beneficial."

He added that the training intensity was high, confirming: "We finished the session feeling exhausted, but this is normal during the preparation period, and we must be ready for what lies ahead throughout the season."
