He pointed out that the project to establish a football company for the White Castle is still ongoing and has not been abandoned.
Shobeir stated in a radio interview: "There has been a lot of talk about Hossam El Zanaty taking the role of sporting director at Zamalek. He is a talented and skilled individual, and he headed the competitions committee at the Football Association during Amr El Ganaieni's time."
He added: "Amr El-Ganaini is the one negotiating with Hossam El-Zanaty, and the discussion is about his approval but with several requests, which are currently being reviewed. There is negotiation, but the final response has not yet occurred."
Shobeir continued: "The file for the football company at Zamalek is frozen, but it has not been canceled. It may be delayed until it is handled, but it will not be canceled."
Ahmad Shobair concluded his statements: "There are some things in Egypt that are not for sale or purchase, like Al Ahly and Zamalek, which are the history of Egyptian football. It is possible to enter into a partnership or have a controlling stake in the club."
