Fathi Jebali expresses dissatisfaction with Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya's foreign players

Fitahi Al-Jabali, the coach of Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya, has expressed his dissatisfaction with the performances of three foreign players in the team, following the conclusion of the "Saqour" training camp in Egypt in preparation for the new season.

The champion of the Iraq Stars League concluded their training camp that started on July 21. During this period, they played several friendly matches, the last of which was against Egyptian side Al-Mansoura, ending in a 1-1 draw, before the team returned to Baghdad today, Tuesday.

Mountains evaluated all local and foreign players during the camp to assess their technical and physical readiness and their ability to implement his ideas before the season starts, especially since the team will compete in the *AFC Champions League* as Iraq's sole representative.

The Tunisian coach has informed the club management of his lack of confidence in the performance of three foreign players, namely:

- *Moses Orokuma* from Nigeria.

- *Anthony Akpoto* the Nigerian.

- *Achraf Boudrama* from Algeria.

Mountains believes that their performance in the friendly matches does not meet the ambitions of the team, nor does it qualify them to represent Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya in the upcoming local and continental competitions.

Sources close to the club have confirmed that the Air Force Club management will hold a meeting with the coaching staff to discuss the coach's observations and reassess transfer market options.

The final decision regarding whether to release or retain players will rest with Fathi Al-Jabal, as he is the primary authority in defining the team's technical requirements.

The club is striving to strengthen its squad with players capable of competing for the league title and making a deep run in the Asian tournament.

In this context, sources revealed a sense of regret within the club regarding the failure to renew the contract of Omani forward *Issam Al-Sabahi*, who had an outstanding season with the team last year, before moving to Thai Port during the current transfer window.

Air Force clinched the Iraqi Premier League title on June 2, ending Al-Shorta's recent dominance in the competition.

Fathi Al-Jabal has assumed the coaching role immediately after the championship victory, and he has begun putting the finishing touches on the team ahead of the new season. The "Falcons" aim to defend their league title and honor Iraqi football in the elite AFC Champions League.
