Torres Responds to PSG Interest, Sends Message to Barcelona

Barcelona forward Ferran Torres has commented on the rumors linking him with a move to Paris Saint-Germain, stating that his future remains tied to his contract with Barcelona, but he hasn't closed the door on any possibilities.

Ferran Torres stated in remarks relayed by journalist Fabrizio Romano: "It's always nice to be wanted by clubs like Paris Saint-Germain, but in the end, I am under contract with Barcelona."

He added: "In football, you never know what might happen, but the positive thing for me is that I have a contract, and that gives me time to make the decision I see fit."

When asked what Barcelona needs to do to keep him, the player smiled and replied: "They need to show me that they want me, and sit down with me to negotiate, and then we will all talk to reach the best solution."

Ferran Torres' contract with Barcelona runs until the summer of 2027, as the club aims to extend it under the current financial terms without a salary increase. Meanwhile, Paris Saint-Germain is monitoring the player's situation, confident of potentially signing him during the summer transfer window if an agreement is not reached with the Catalan club regarding the renewal.
