Official: Real Madrid Announces Gonzalo Garcia's Move to Fulham

Real Madrid has officially announced that it has reached an agreement with English club Fulham for the transfer of striker Gonzalo Garcia to the team during the summer transfer window.

Gonzalo joined Real Madrid's academy in 2014 when he was just ten years old, spending 11 seasons at the club as he progressed through various age groups before reaching the first team.

Throughout his time with the first team, Gonzalo contributed to winning the FIFA Club World Cup, in addition to the La Liga title.

Real Madrid confirmed in their statement that the player was an example of commitment and represented the club's values throughout his years at Santiago Bernabéu, thanking him for his contributions and wishing him and his family success in their new venture, while assuring that the club's doors will always remain open for him.

According to several media reports, the deal cost Fulham's coffers €40 million plus €2 million in add-ons, while Real Madrid will retain 30% of any future sale.

The talented 22-year-old forward has signed a five-year contract with Fulham, lasting until the summer of 2031, with an option for the club to extend the deal for an additional 12 months.
