Al Masry SC has announced the signing of Mohamed Sayha, arriving from Al Ahly on a one-season loan during the current summer transfer window.

The Egyptian club stated in an official announcement: "The board of directors of Al Masry, led by Kamel Abu Ali, has completed the procedures to acquire the services of Mohamed Ahmed Sayha, the first-team goalkeeper of Al Ahly, on loan for one season during the current summer transfer window until the end of next season."

He added: "The player has signed his new contract with Al-Masry and completed the medical examination after finalizing all procedures with Al-Ahly and paying the cash fee for the sixth deal for the sons of Port Said during the current summer transfer window."

The Egyptian club has previously signed Moroccan striker Abdallah Zayani from DHJ, midfielder Yassin El Melah from Pharco, defender Mostafa El Ash from Al Ahly, and his teammate left-back Mohamed Shokry, as well as Algerian player Kheireddine Toual from ES Sétif.

Mohamed Sayha is 25 years old and has previously played for Arab Contractors and Haras El Hodood on loan, before transferring to Al Ahly ahead of the season. It is worth noting that the goalkeeper was included in Egypt's Olympic team participating in the Paris 2024 Olympics.
