PSG Leads Juventus in Race for Zion Suzuki

Paris Saint-Germain has made a strong move to sign Japanese goalkeeper Zion Suzuki, currently with Parma in Italy, by submitting an official offer for his services during the current summer transfer window.

According to Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano, Paris Saint-Germain has sent a total bid of €33 million to Parma, putting the French club ahead of Juventus in the race to sign the Japanese international goalkeeper.

Romano explained that Parma is ready to move forward in negotiations, reflecting the seriousness of the Parisian offer and the deal approaching its critical stages.

Paris Saint-Germain has not only been in talks with Parma but has also presented its sporting project to Suzuki, in an attempt to persuade him to move to the French capital. The club's project is linked to the future of their goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier, who will play an important role in Paris Saint-Germain's plans for the goalkeeper position in the upcoming period.

Suzuki, 24, is considered one of the standout Japanese goalkeepers in recent years, having impressed during his time in European football, making him a target for several top clubs, with Juventus leading the charge.

Juventus was one of the main clubs interested in the Japanese goalkeeper, but Paris Saint-Germain's official offer and direct negotiations with Parma and Suzuki have placed the French club in a better position to secure the deal.

According to Romano, negotiations have reached an advanced stage, and the deal is in progress, with Paris Saint-Germain working to finalize the details and secure Suzuki's signing.
