Mourinho: I've seen three faces of Real Madrid, but I haven't felt anything yet

Jose Mourinho expressed his satisfaction with Real Madrid's performance after the 2-2 draw against Fiorentina in the team's third friendly match in preparation for the new season, emphasizing that his players displayed varying levels of performance during the match based on their physical condition.

Mourinho stated in an interview with Real Madrid TV: "I saw three faces of Real Madrid; a team that was fully active, then a fatigued team, and finally a team that was completely exhausted. In the first half, we played wonderful football, and the 2-1 scoreline was very little; we could have easily scored three or four goals."

He added: "After that, the match became more physical, and Fiorentina started to press us. We played inside the box with young players like Juan and Mario, who both had a great game, but they still need to develop physically to face a strong striker like Moise Kean."

The Portuguese coach confirmed that he was impressed by his team's reaction in the final minutes, stating: "What impressed me the most is that the team, despite extreme fatigue, remained cohesive and regained control of the game. Dumfries and Endrick only trained for three days, yet they played over 70 minutes, which is a significant effort deserving of thanks."

Discussing his key takeaways from the match, Mourinho stated: "This is Real Madrid with the available resources right now. I told the players before the match that Real Madrid remains Real Madrid even in friendly matches. I had to rely on the available elements, and we only trained once on the organizational aspects."

Mourinho praised the team's young talents, saying: "Juan and Mario have a fantastic future ahead of them, and they were excellent as long as the match stayed away from physical confrontations. Carlos Espi is living a real dream; he trained with us for just one hour, but he helped the team and had his first experience with Real Madrid."

The coach concluded his remarks by emphasizing the technical staff's eagerness for the return of the remaining stars, stating: "I am very happy with what the players have been showing since day one, but I wish all the players had been with us since the start of the preparation period. On Monday, Vinicius, Brahim Diaz, and Bernardo Silva will join, and as the days go by, the number of available players will increase."
