Juventus has begun its efforts to sign a new goalkeeper during the summer transfer window, opening channels of communication with Ukrainian keeper Anatoliy Trubin, currently at Benfica, and Swiss star Gregor Kobel from Borussia Dortmund, among the candidates to strengthen the goalkeeping position.

According to Tuttosport, Unai Simon, the goalkeeper for Athletic Bilbao and the Spanish national team, was the preferred target for Juventus management. However, completing the deal seems nearly impossible at this time, prompting the club to search for other alternatives.

Tropin, 24 years old, stands out as one of the top options after his impressive performances with Benfica. Meanwhile, Kobel, the Borussia Dortmund goalkeeper and Swiss national team player, has caught the attention of Juventus officials due to his consistent level and experience in European competitions.

Guglielmo Vicario, the Italian goalkeeper for Tottenham Hotspur, is still on the list as a backup option in case negotiations with primary targets falter.

These moves come as Juventus aims to resolve their goalkeeping situation ahead of the new season, following complications in their previous attempts to sign Emiliano Martínez, prompting the management to broaden their available options.
