Hamlaoui Lion Set for Pyramids Move

Romanian media reports indicate that striker Asad Al-Hamlaoui could leave Universitatea Craiova for a new experience in the Egyptian league with Pyramids FC. This comes following statements from Silvian Cristescu, a close associate of Mihai Rotaru, the owner of the Romanian club Universitatea Craiova.

Romanian media reports have revealed that a €5 million offer has been made by Pyramids to Universitatea Craiova for the signing of Hamlaoui.

Sylvain Cristescu, in statements to Romanian site Fanatik, said the club's management should seriously consider selling Hamlaoui, especially after receiving a €5 million offer, particularly following their exit from the UEFA Champions League.

He added: "If the decision were up to me, and I received a good offer for one of the players, I would agree to sell him, as it would be in the best interest of both the club and the player. The club should not get into financial crises or issues related to financial fair play, while it can achieve significant financial returns."

He added: "It's natural for a player to think about a transfer if their salary increases from €20,000 a month to €50,000 or €60,000, and €5 million is an excellent value for selling any player on the team right now."

Sylvain Kryvtsov concluded his statements by saying: "If the offers are around one and a half million, two million, or two and a half million, these are the prices at which we buy players, not the prices at which we sell them."
