Vlahovic to Decide Future Soon as Barcelona Keeps Door Open

Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic is preparing to determine his future during the first week of August, having decided not to prolong the waiting period until the final days of the transfer window. He aims to join his new team and get ready for the upcoming season in the best possible way.

According to Spanish newspaper Sport, Dusan Vlahovic has received an improved offer from Turkish club Besiktas that spans two seasons and includes a signing bonus, making it the most serious option on his table at the moment.

Despite this, the Serbian striker still considers Barcelona his first choice, and he has informed those close to him that he is ready to reduce his financial demands if the Catalan club decides to move for him. However, communications between the two parties have so far only reached the stage of exchanging information, without entering into formal negotiations.

Dusan Vlahovic's contract with Juventus expired on June 30, and attempts to renew it have failed, leading to his exit from the Italian club. Juventus has bolstered its attack by signing French forward Randal Kolo Muani, effectively closing the door on any potential return for the Serbian striker.

At the start of the summer, Vlahovic stipulated a two-year contract with a net salary of €8 million per season, along with a signing bonus and commissions for his agents. Barcelona considered these demands excessive, opting only to listen without taking any concrete steps.

As time goes by, the player has reduced his demands, while Barcelona has kept the door ajar, especially with their attacking options dwindling, which has given Vlahovic hope for the possibility of completing the transfer.
