Mohamed Salah is close to embarking on a new experience in the Saudi Pro League, as reports have revealed that he has reached a preliminary agreement with Al-Ittihad during the current summer transfer window.

Turkish newspaper Sabah has confirmed that Ittihad Jeddah's management has begun official negotiations with the captain of the Egyptian national team, offering him a financial package worth $25 million annually to persuade him to join the club.

The newspaper reported that Salah has shown his approval of the offer, while the contract signing procedures are in their final stages, paving the way for the official announcement of the deal.

In contrast, Turkish club Besiktas has exited the race to sign Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, as negotiations faltered over financial disagreements with the player's agent.

Reports suggest that negotiations have come to a standstill after Mohamed Salah's agent insisted on securing privileges related to image rights and commercial revenues, which were rejected by the Turkish club's management.

Despite adjustments to some financial terms, both parties could not reach a final agreement, leading Besiktas to decide to end negotiations while keeping the option to reopen the matter in the future.

Mohamed Salah's name has been associated with a move to Al-Ittihad for years, but current indications seem to suggest that this interest could turn into an official deal during the summer transfer window.
