Carlos Espe joins Real Madrid training

Young Spanish forward Carlos Espejo has started his first training sessions with Real Madrid, joining the team's preparations on the fifth day of the third week of the pre-season at the Real Madrid Sports City.

Ispí participated in training for the first time under the guidance of coach José Mourinho, just hours after the club officially announced his signing to strengthen the attacking line in preparation for the upcoming season.

Real Madrid announced yesterday the signing of Carlos Espi from Levante in a deal worth €25 million, aimed at replacing Gonzalo Garcia, who moved to Fulham during the summer transfer window.

Carlos Espe is 21 years old and has played three seasons with Levante, during which he has made 66 appearances and scored 20 goals. Last season, he was awarded the Best Under-23 Player in La Liga. Espe is also an international player for Spain's U19 and U20 teams.

Espi is the fifth signing for Real Madrid this summer, following the arrivals of Bernardo Silva, Ibrahima Konaté, Denzel Dumfries, and Marc Cucurella. The club is also working on securing Rodri from Manchester City and Diadie Samassékou from Leipzig.
