Mido Slams Zamalek's Football Company: A Bunch of Fraudsters
Ahmed Hossam Mido, the former star of Zamalek and the Egyptian national team, has launched a fierce attack on what he described as attempts to exploit Zamalek in the football company file, asserting that the club has been subjected to an attempt to deceive by unnamed individuals.
Mido stated on his official X account: "Zamalek fell victim to some fraudsters who tried to take over the football sector, buy it cheaply, and sell it for billions. We stopped the fraud that the club was facing, and it will be written in history."
The former Zamalek star added that the club has a large fanbase and a history that does not allow for such treatment, stressing that Zamalek has defenders who will not easily allow any attempts to undermine the club's rights or exploit it for personal gain.
Mido did not disclose the names of the individuals or entities he referred to in his statements, nor did he clarify the details of the offer or the nature of the negotiations he mentioned. As a result, his comments remain his own account of the incident without any independent details published regarding the identities of the parties or the value of the alleged deal.
