Informed sources within Al-Zawraa have revealed that goalkeeper Hussein Hassan wishes to leave the "Nawaris" during the current summer transfer window and terminate his contract with the club to pursue a new experience.

Sources have confirmed that Arbil FC has shown a clear interest in acquiring the Iraqi Olympic national team's goalkeeper. The player himself is inclined towards the idea of moving to "Hawler" and playing for the team next season.

This move comes just one season after Hassan joined Al-Zawraa from Al-Karkh.

Hussein Hassan participated in 19 matches with Al-Zawraa in the local league last season, successfully keeping 6 clean sheets.

According to sources close to the player, Hassan's desire to leave stems from his quest for greater playing time and more minutes on the pitch, especially with upcoming national team fixtures on the horizon.

Al-Zawraa's management has not yet issued an official stance regarding the contract termination request, but opening negotiations with Erbil may facilitate a mutually agreeable deal between the two parties.

On the other hand, Arbil views Hussein Hassan as a strong addition to their goalkeeping department, especially as the club aims to build a team capable of competing both domestically and continentally.

Negotiations among the three parties are expected to finalize in the coming days, with the player eager to leave, Arbil keen on the acquisition, and Al-Zawraa awaiting the official offer that secures the club's rights.
