Fulham Secures Gonzalo Garcia from Real Madrid

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano has confirmed via his X account that the transfer of Spanish forward Gonzalo Garcia from Real Madrid to Fulham has been completed during the current summer transfer window.

According to Romano, the deal is valued at €40 million as a fixed fee, plus €2 million in incentives and variables. Meanwhile, Real Madrid has retained several important clauses within the agreement to protect its future interests.

Real Madrid will receive 30% of the value of any future sale of the player, in addition to having the right to match any offers received by Gonzalo Garcia in the future, giving the royal club an advantage should they wish to reclaim him or prevent his transfer to another club.

Alvaro Arbeloa has played a crucial role in convincing Fulham to finalize the deal for Garcia, placing him at the top of his priorities to strengthen the attacking line. He is also continuing efforts to sign Real Madrid midfielder Cesar Palacios for €10 million.

Fulham hopes that Garcia will be a strong addition to the team in the new season, while Real Madrid continues its policy of investing in young talents while retaining clauses that give them a future advantage regarding the player.
