Barcelona Close to Securing Joao Cancelo Deal for €10 Million

His agent, Jorge Mendes, is leading communications between the parties to complete the deal during this transfer window. João Cancelo returned to Barcelona on loan last season and delivered impressive performances that made him a key figure in coach Hansi Flick's plans. He participated in 23 matches, scoring two goals and providing three assists, with the coach relying on him in various positions across the flanks.

Despite the player still being under contract with Al Hilal until the summer of 2027, his clear desire is to continue with Barcelona, prompting Mendes to work on finding a final agreement that suits all parties.
