Goretzka Offers Himself to Barcelona
Leon Goretzka has become a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Bayern Munich, amid reports linking him with a move to Barcelona during the summer transfer window.
Journalist "Matteo Moretto" noted that Goretzka has offered his services to Barcelona to work again under the guidance of Hans Flick.
Despite Frenkie de Jong's injury, Barcelona does not consider strengthening their midfield a priority, as they have numerous options in this position.
Goretzka has an impressive record with Flick, having played 64 matches for Bayern Munich under his leadership, scoring 15 goals and providing 18 assists, and was a key player in the team that clinched the sextuple.
The German midfielder finished his last season with Bayern by scoring 5 goals and providing 5 assists in 48 matches.
According to "Mundo Deportivo," Barcelona is currently focusing on signing a forward, with the possibility of bolstering the center-back position, which places the pursuit of Leon Goretzka outside the club's current priorities.
