Roma Nears Sale of Anas Salah Eddine to Olympiacos
Roma has entered advanced negotiations with Greek side Olympiacos for the transfer of Moroccan full-back Anas Salah Eddine during the current summer transfer window, according to Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera.
According to the report, Salah Eddine, who spent last season on loan at PSV Eindhoven, is close to leaving the Italian capital permanently, as discussions between the two clubs continue with full agreement on the terms of the deal, while the financial value of the transfer has yet to be finalized.
The source indicated that the deal will be a permanent transfer rather than a loan, which gives Roma the opportunity to achieve direct financial returns from the sale of the player.
The report indicates that Roma's management is pursuing this deal to strengthen its financial standing and comply with the requirements of the settlement agreement with UEFA. However, selling Salah alone will not be sufficient, as the club will need additional measures to achieve the necessary financial balance.
