Egyptian Premier League 2026-2027 Draw Date Announced

The Egyptian Professional Clubs Association announced on Wednesday evening the date for the draw of the Egyptian Premier League for the new season 2026-2027.

The draw ceremony for the Egyptian League 2026-2027 season is scheduled to be held at the Goal Project headquarters in Sheikh Zayed City next Wednesday, August 5, at 3 PM Cairo and Mecca time.

Zamalek holds the Egyptian Premier League title for the 2025-2026 season, having secured the trophy after a fierce contest with Pyramids and Al Ahly until the final round.

The new season of the Egyptian Premier League is set to feature 20 clubs, with the first phase played in a single round-robin format. In the final stage, teams will be divided into two groups: the first group will consist of 6 teams competing for the title, while the second group will include 14 teams battling to avoid relegation.
