Ahmad Magahid, the former president of the Egyptian Football Association, confirmed that Al Ahly's management has completely distanced itself from Zamalek's continental license file. He emphasized that the White Castle successfully met the required conditions and obtained the official license before the closure of the African registration window, without any interference from their traditional rival.

Zamalek officials have announced that they have received official letters from the Confederation of African Football (CAF), confirming the final approval of their continental license, which officially secures the white team's place in the upcoming edition of the African Champions League.

Ahmed Megahid stated in an interview on MBC Masr: "Zamalek succeeded in settling all its affairs by the deadline set for all clubs, which was July 25. Al Ahly was not involved in Zamalek's licensing crisis at all; it was the media that was involved in the matter."

The former president of the Football Federation stated: "Al Ahly has the right to object to this matter, but that hasn't happened. I don't know if Al Ahly filed a complaint or not, but I don't think that occurred. If the Football Federation took actions that were against the rules, then the club with a vested interest has the right to speak up, but I believe the matter is settled."
