Brazilian star Raphinha joined Barcelona's training camp today, Wednesday, at the St George's Park facilities in England, following the end of his holiday after participating with the Brazil national team in the 2026 World Cup in the United States.

Raphinha has become the third senior international player to join Barcelona training, following Uruguay's Ronald Araújo and the injured Dutchman Frenkie de Jong, who exited the World Cup before the Brazilian team, alongside academy player Hamza Abdel Karim.

Most of Barcelona's international players are set to join the camp on August 12, including the eight Spaniards, as well as Ferran Torres and Jules Koundé. This comes just two weeks ahead of the La Liga season opener against Elche at the Martínez Valero Stadium on August 23.

Raphinha's arrival comes amid special attention from the medical staff, after he suffered an injury while playing for Brazil against Haiti in the second round of the group stage at the World Cup. He sustained another injury to his right hamstring and was unable to participate in any further matches in the tournament.

The player will undergo new medical examinations to assess his condition before starting a specialized training program aimed at a gradual return to team training with his teammates, similar to what happened with Araújo after his return from injury.
