Laporta to Miss Barcelona's England Camp Due to Heart Rhythm Disorder

Barcelona President Joan Laporta has announced that he will not travel to St George's Park in England to accompany the team during their preseason camp, after experiencing a heart rhythm disturbance. He confirmed that the condition has been successfully treated, but doctors have advised him to rest and avoid travel in the coming days.

Laporta wrote on his official accounts: "Everything went well, and my heartbeat has returned to normal. I thank the doctors, nurses, and all the medical staff at Barcelona Hospital for their excellent care, as well as the medical team at FC Barcelona, and everyone who supported me during this time."

Due to his absence, the club president will not be able to attend the friendly match against Birmingham City, as the team prepares for the new season. The sporting vice president, Rafa Yusti, will lead the club's administrative delegation in England.

Laporta has received numerous messages of support from Barcelona fans, who wished him a swift recovery and a quick return to his duties as president of the club.
