Hossam Labib Aims to Bring Back Moataz Gamal to Lead Zamalek Next Season

Hossam Labib, the president of Zamalek SC, is considering reappointing Moataz Gamal to lead the team's technical management for the upcoming football season. This development was announced by Ahmed Hassan, former star of the Egyptian national team and both Cairo giants, via his Facebook account, citing responsible sources within the White Castle. The management is keen to solidify the features of the coaching staff in preparation for the upcoming challenges.

This comes at a time when John Edward, the sporting director of the white club, is insisting on completing the contract with Serbian coach Vuk Razovic, the former manager of Al-Fayha.

Reports have confirmed that Moamen Gamal has turned down several offers from clubs in recent times, insisting on remaining in his position at Zamalek.

Mohamed Jamal has successfully led Zamalek to clinch the Egyptian Premier League title in the recently concluded 2025-2026 season. He also took the club to the final of the African Confederation Cup.
