Who is Mansif Bakar, Al Ahly's New Striker?

Al Ahly has successfully secured the signing of Algerian striker Mansour Bakar, who joins from Croatian side Dinamo Zagreb, to bolster the team's attacking line during the current summer transfer window in preparation for upcoming competitions.

Mansif was born on January 13, 2001, in the city of Sétif, Algeria, and is currently 25 years old. He plays as a center forward.

The Algerian forward started his football journey in the youth ranks of ES Sétif, eventually making it to the first team. His international career began in the summer of 2022 with a move to Croatian side Istra, followed by a stint in Major League Soccer with New York City FC in the summer of 2023, before heading back to Croatia to join Dinamo Zagreb in August 2025.

He delivered one of his best seasons in the Dynamo Zagreb shirt, participating in 42 matches across all competitions, scoring 18 goals, and providing 7 assists, helping the team secure the league and cup double in Croatia during the 2025-2026 season.
