Philip Jørgensen Leaves Chelsea Camp Ahead of Potential Move

Danish goalkeeper Philipp Jørgensen has left Chelsea's pre-season camp to complete the procedures for a potential transfer during the summer transfer window.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Strasbourg is the most prominent destination for the goalkeeper at the moment, but both parties still need to agree on the final terms and the structure of the deal, whether it be a permanent transfer or a loan, with negotiations between the two clubs owned by the BlueCo group potentially accelerating.

Jacobs also noted that Jørgensen has received calls from several English clubs, while Chelsea remains open to selling or loaning the player during the summer transfer window.

Philippe Jørgensen is 23 years old and began his football career at the Villarreal academy before progressing through the ranks to reach the first team. He joined Chelsea in the summer of 2025, but has struggled to secure a regular spot in the team, making a summer exit the most viable option to gain more playing minutes.
