Fermín and Araújo Return to Barcelona Training in England
Barcelona's coach, Hansi Flick, received a significant morale boost during the training camp held at St George's Park in England, as both Fermín López and Ronald Araújo returned to participate in team training for the first time in a while.
The two players continue to recover positively, but their participation in the two scheduled matches during the camp, one friendly and the other training, has not yet been confirmed, although current indicators suggest a satisfactory improvement in their physical condition.
Firminho suffered an injury with Barcelona before the last round of La Liga, causing him to miss the World Cup. Araujo, on the other hand, will not participate in the 2026 World Cup with the Uruguay national team, although he is not officially considered injured by the club, as he underwent a separate training program as a precaution during the start of the preparation period.
Barcelona's squad arrived at their training camp in St. George's Park on Sunday evening. The team held their first training session after settling into the hotel, with players set to participate in two training sessions on Tuesday as they prepare for the new season.
